“LET IT BE…ATLES”
It is a multimedial project of music, images and words put on view to celebrate the music of the Beatles, and the events occurred during the Sixties in the world.
The project drives us back to the decade 1960-1970 from an historical, cultural and social view, depicting those years with a visual material projected and displayed on a large screen by the Laboratorio Teatro Orvieto, fundamental and long-lasting partner of Giampaolo Ascolese, and by Isoritmo Group.

Optionally, the project can be made in a solo performance by Ascolese. The whole thing is devoted to the Beatles!
The textual matter is contribution of Ernesto De Pascale - important expert of  rock music and journalist - and makes the project more evocative and focused on the description of history and culture of that crucial decade.

Just to mention some of  the main events highlighted in the performance: Vietnam war, first heart transplant, first protests of 1968, landing on the moon.
The Beatles music goes with the events of the decade displayed.
The hits of the Fabulous Four composed in those years have become evergreens for all ages.

GIAMPAOLO ASCOLESE “COULEUR MUSIQUE
”Music and paintings multimedial project
The project by Giampaolo Ascolese is an imaginary day spent in an imaginary art gallery that holds some of the painting masterpieces as testimonies of the last millennium, precisely from 1200 to 2000.
The project may be performed optionally by the Isoritmo Group - as for the previous project - as well as by Giampaolo Ascolese in a solo performance.

Giampaolo Ascolese, in the solo performance, plays the music pieces on prerecorded basic sounds, describing with his music the mood that each Artist bestowed on his own Artwork and following the musical culture of the age of the paintings.
Ascolese plays vibraphone and percussions, matching the images of masterpieces with his very personal arrangements.

Depending on the musical option, the paintings are chosen among the artworks of Giotto (1300), Leonardo Da Vinci, Fernando Botero, Rembrandt (1600), Tolouse Lautrec (1800), ten painters belonging to the Neapolitan School of XIX Century, Henri Rousseau, Wassily Kandinskij, Caravaggio, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Thomas Hart Benton (and other artists from the American XX Century), George Braque, Marie Reine Levrat, Giuseppe Baccaro.
